Foo Fighter frontman says that fatherhood has made him a better person and that having a child makes him "feel alive".Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum welcomed daughter Violet Maye in April 2006 .
He says, "Becoming a father changes your outlook on every single aspect of your life. It really does change the way you look at things, and with me, it made me feel fearless - it makes me feel more f**king alive.
"It changed everything about the way I write. So when you're writing music with that in mind or that in your heart, everything just blooms into this f**king incredibly colourful, colourful feeling."
