WNBA star Lisa Leslie and her husband Michael Lockwood welcomed a daughter on Friday. Lauren was born at 4:05 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz.
Leslie sat out this season from her position as center for the Los Angeles Sparks but plans to return to the court in 2008.
"I've been working out," she says. "I haven't been sick."
Leslie and Lockwood have been married since November 2005.
