On bringing Wyatt Home:
"The day he came home (on April 30) I felt like the whole house had changed. The house felt fuller. You just feel like nesting and making sure he's acclimated to the world. It is all so fascinating."
On his adoption:
It was a closed, out-of-state adoption and Crow had Wyatt in her custody within 24 hours of his birth.
On having some extra hands around to help with the baby:
Crow says she has both her parents and a "wonderful baby nurse" on hand to help her adjust to life with Wyatt.
"My mom would hand him to me and say, 'Here's your mommy.' It was really poignant (and very startling) to hear my mom call me Mommy," she says. "It took me a while to get used to it."
On receiving motherly advice from her friends:
Crow is receiving advice from friends Laura Dern, who has two kids ages 2 and 5, and Gabby Reese, who has a three-year-old. Both of whom she describes as "Earth Mother types" who "are really dialed in to how to raise a baby organically and holistically."

Where the new family will live:
Crow plans on setting up her primary residensce with Wyatt at her Nashville home rather than L.A.
On adding more kids to the mix:
Crow says she expects "a whole troop" of brothers and sisters to eventually join Wyatt.
On getting married:
She doesn't have plans on getting married quite yet although she does have a "somebody" who is not in the entertainment business.
On her music career:
Her next album is almost finished and she hopes to hit the road with a tour in February with Wyatt, a nanny and her dogs Oscar and Lucy in tow.
On her favorite baby moment:
She says, "Waking up in the middle of the night and seeing him next to me and realizing, 'Oh, he's still here! How fantastic! It's not a dream.' "
