Elisabeth Hasslebeck recently talked with US Weekly about her pregnancy, finding out the gender, and adapting her life as a working mom of a toddler to the pregnancy.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck has tried to help two-year-old Grace be a part of the pregnancy from the start and the two conspired on how to tell Daddy Tim Hasslebeck the good news. She said: "I actually had Grace tell him. He came home and she said, 'I'm going to be a big sister!' He did a double take, but of course he was excited."
The couple doesn't plan on learning the gender of the baby until the big arrival. "I'm a control freak in every other aspect of my life but for me there are a few things that I want no knowledge of. Things about the future. And honestly, the anticipation of finding out, gets me through the pregnancy!"
Grace doesn't care if it's a boy or a girl as long as she can help name he baby. Grace "just wants to make sure it is named Sebastian".
Elisabeth doesn't plan on letting go of her healthy habits just because she's expecting and will continue her habit of running four miles three times a week.
She admits that she enjoys being pregnant saying: "I really like being pregnant because I feel like I let go of a lot of my hangups. You definitely see yourself in a better light."
