Tobey Maguire likes his quiet life with fiance Jennifer Meyer and daughter Ruby Sweetheart and is criticizing attention seeking stars who "bring it on themselves." The Spiderman star says he has no sympathy for stars that seek the attention and then complain about being hounded by paparazzi.He tells Cosmopolitan magazine: "I look at people in gossip magazines and I can't imagine what it's like. It seems some of them bring it on themselves - it fuels them. I've always avoided things that would put me out there."
Tobey admits that he was swept up in the excitement following the release of the first Spider-Man film, but now prefers a more tranquil lifestyle.
He said: "I love being a dad. I love holding my little girl and going off to work and not wanting to let her go. Now I've got two girls- I love it - it's the best!"
Unfornately, the star will be pulled away from his girls in order to do the press circuit for Spider-Man 3 and the couples nuptuals are currently on hold.
He says: "I have obligations to travel for the next couple of months and we have to decide how big we want it. It's tricky."
