Actress Leah Remini of "The King of Queens" is set to star in a new Web series about motherhood. "In the Motherhood" will premiere on MSN on May 11 at http://www.inthemotherhood.com. The five-episode series profiles the "ever-hectic but always humorous" lives of three moms / girlfriends.
The series will be written by Hollywood and focus on a different aspect of "motherhood" based based on the real-life stories submitted over the Internet and voted on by the online community. Topics could include your child's worst public meltdown, funniest potty training story and the funniest child-rearing advice from your mother-in-law.
The webisodes will be available for viewing on the web and are sponsored by Suave and Sprint. Clips will also be shown on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," whose host will call on moms to submit their real-life stories and to vote on the best entries.
"The King of Queens" wraps up its nine-year run later this Spring.
