Chris Rock Facing Paternity Claim

Chris Rock is facing a paternity claim by an ex-friend who says he is the father of her 13-year-old son.

Kali Bowyer filed a paternity suit against Rock in Georgia's Superior Court last month claiming he is the father of her son Jordan.

Rock's lawyer responded to the suit saying Rock will submit to the test, but he's too busy right now promoting his latest film.

Bowyer telss the New York Daily News: "I'm not asking for money for myself nor am I suing him for $1 million. I'm just seeking a DNA test to establish paternity, medical coverage and child support."

Bowyer claims that she did contact Rock's attorney shortly after the child's birth, but chose not to follow through and press the issue. Her claim comes following some medical issues with the child that has run up costly medical bills.

Bowyer said: "Chris and I were part of the same group of friends. I wouldn't even call it dating. We were two consenting adults who had sex once in awhile. No strings attached."
