Britney's Troubled Relationship with Her Family

Last week Britney Spears' father Jamie criticized his daughter in the New York Post. As a result, Britney is reportedly pushing other members of her family and friends out of her inner circle.

US Weekly reports that "she's cut everyone out of her life," according to a source. "She says she doesn't want to see anyone from her past."

Spears' has historically had a positive relationship with her mom, Lynne, although her relationship with Kevin Federline caused some friction between the two. Britney is reportedly upset that her mom gave custody of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to Federline while she was in rehab.

"She feels her mother gave Larry Rudolph power: He handed her kids over to her ex," says the source.

Another insider says, "Britney loves her mom and they talk almost every day, but they aren't the most cordial conversations."
