The ongoing custody battle between Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger took another nasty turn yesterday when TMZ posted an angry voicemail message Baldwin left for his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland. In the message, Baldwin lashes out at his daughter for missing a scheduled phone call. Baldwin calls his daughter a "rude little pig" and threatens to "straighten your ass out."
"You have humiliated me for the last time," he goes on.
Baldwin's rep shas released a statement saying that he "acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child" but that "everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."
Basinger's rep said, "I think the voicemail speaks for itself."
The couple have been arguing about custody and visitation of Ireland for the past three years and Baldwin has accused his ex-wife of having "a pathological need" to turn their daughter against him.
A court hearing in the custody case is set for May 4.

Why is Alec fighting for custody? He's crazy himself to think that in this day and age when the courts favor primary custody to mom's, that he could even have the slightest chance of removing mom from the custody picture. He should end this redonkulus custody conflict, take his joint custody and read a book called "Divorce Poison" to counter the affects of Parental Alienation Syndrome in a healthy and constructive way.
