Johnny Depp's Daughter is Recovering from Illness

Update: Lily-Rose has reportedly been released from a London hospital. According to the UK's Mirror newspaper, she left the hopital today and was carried by her father to the waiting car. The family has relocated to a hotel in London while she recovers.

Update posted on March 8 at 2:11 PM: In Touch has revealed the "mystery illness" that has caused Lily-Rose to be hospitalized. She reportedly stepped on a rusty tack in the rustic farmhouse in which the family resides. Blood poisoning then developed and has spread throughout her body and is now affecting her vital organs. She had not been responding to treatment.

Originally posted on March 8 at 12:20 PM: Johnny Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose, who has been hospitalized in England, is "doing much better" according to the actor's rep.

"We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better," Depp's rep, Robin Baum, said in a released statement. "The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy."

The actor and long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis along with their children, Lily-Rose, 7, and Jack, 5, have been in London will Depp films a movie version of the stage musical Sweeney Todd for DreamWorks.
