Men in Trees star James Tupper says his romance with Anne Heche didn't start until they both separated from their respective spouses. "The line," he says, "was never crossed."
The actor says he and Heche "really trusted each other almost right from the beginning."
Tupper separated from his wife Kate in November and Heche announced her separation from husband, Coley Laffoon, in January.
Tupper adds, "I adore her, and I'm hopeful for the future."
Tupper is not ready to settle down again saying: "I'm not ready to rush into marriage, but I've never met anyone like her. There's something really comforting when you can truly connect with someone and be understood. Isn't that what we all want?"
