Diane Keaton Likes Being an "Old Maid"

Iconic actress, Diane Keaton, has learned to embrace the title of "old maid" given to her by critics who choose to focus on her marital status.

The 61-year-old Keaton has never been married and has two adopted children, Dexter and Duke.

She says, "You could say I'm an old maid - I remember when I was a kid, if you were labelled an old maid it was like being a witch. But now that I am one, I don't feel that way.

"I don't have a romantic life. Nothing at all. Zero. It is self-imposed. I don't miss it. I don't even think about romance. I never married because I was never in a relationship that was good enough to warrant it."
