Kate Winslet is suing a British magainze over claims that she has visited a Hollywood diet doctor in order to slim down. The actress is a vocal critic of the growing trend in Hollywood -- extreme thinness -- and is fuming that Grazia magazine ran a story claiming that she had visiting the Chinese Healing Institute in Santa Monica, California in order to lose weight.
At last night BAFTA awards she said, "I'm very upset. It's categorically untrue, it's a complete lie."
Last year she had slammed the trend of ultra slim actresses by saying, "What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner.
"It's so damaging... and it frightens the life out of me."
