Anna Nicole's Mom Attempts to Remove Dannielynn

Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, has headed to the courthouse in the Bahamas in an attempt to remove Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, from the care of Howard K Stern.

Arthur filed an official complaint yesterday at the local police station stating that she is worried for Dannielynn's safety.

"Her only concern in all of this is getting the baby away from Howard Stern," says David Lee, a spokesman for Arthur. "She will do whatever she can to get the child away from [him]."

"There is an injunction to prevent the baby from leaving the Bahamas," said Desmara Whitfield, an attorney for Arthur.
