Sharon Stone Urges Women to Stop Looking for Prince Charming

Sharon Stone has decided to stop waiting for Prince Charming to make her happy and she urges other women to follow her lead.

The actress has three sons -- Roan - 6 years, Laird - 20 months, and Quinn - 7-months -- and believes women should feel free to start their family on their own instead of waiting for the perfect man to come along.

She says, "I'd urge anyone who is even considering it to go ahead and make their own family, instead of sitting around dreaming and hoping that their Prince Charming is going to come and give them children. What's the point? Make it happen for yourself. If your Prince Charming does come, then he's going to walk in and say, 'Oh, just what I've been looking for, a family waiting for me.' We can do that these days."

Sharon reveals that she didn't planning on adopting three children is such quick succession, but is happy with how things have worked out.

She said, "I hadn't really planned on adopting the last two so close together. In fact, it was a challenging decision to take Quinn so soon after Laird. I'm really just trying to make sure one of them doesn't smash up the other first."

This is such a cynical comment. Let's not forget she is a millionaire. Regular women with regular jobs and a regular support system on their hands (friends, family, local day-care provider) are IMHO better off waiting for a man before becoming a mother.

I agree with above. She can hire 3 nannies for each kid while she goes out and drinks tequila in her yard.
