She says of meeting Lamar: "I was on a kick like, "I'm never going to find anybody, and all guys suck. I'm going to be single for the rest of my life, and it's all about Jake and Hunter."
On the age difference: "I prayed for a younger man to come along; I still feel like I'm 17."
On Lamar's becoming a stepdad: "He just walked into that role so easily, like he has been doing all his life. I've been a single mom for ten years, so it's nice to have someone who can help out. My garage is so clean and organized right now I can't find anything!"
