James Brown's Will Drawn Up Before Son's Birth

The will that was read last week following the death of James Brown that leaves out his "wife" and 5-year-old son was written prior to James Brown Jr's birth.

The son's exclusion has raised questions about the couple's marriage and the paternity of the five-year-old. Today it was revealed that the will in question was drawn up 10 months before the child's birth and more than a year before the couple's marriage.

There is some question about Hynie's status as she was still married to another man at the time she married Brown. She contends that that marriage was annulled and she legally married Brown.

The will calls for Brown's personal effects to be divided equally among the singer's six adult children.
