Father of Madonna's Adopted Son Wants Her Number

The birth father of David Banda, the 1-year-old Malawian boy Madonna is attempting to adopt, wants some news on how his son is doing.

"I don't have her phone and mailing addresses. All I want is to find out how my son is but I don't know how I can do it," says Yohanbe Banda in Malawi's Daily Times.

"I only talked to her once at the High Court and I want to talk to her now and find out about my child."

Banda reportedly spoke to the paper after receiving a $788 check from from a Scottish nun named Christine Webster, who has said she thinks David should have stayed in Malawi.

Banda says he just wants news of his child, not his return.

"All I want is to find out how my child is doing and not to have him back," he said.
