Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has been placed on immediate bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. She is due in April with fraternal twins. This has caused quite the dilemma for the crew of Desperate Housewives as she was not yet done filming her pre-maternity leaves scenes for the show.
Rather than put Marcia or her babies at risk, the show has opted to bring the show to her. The show will be filming the final two episodes featuring Marcia's charachter Bree at her house. The crew is building a replica of Bree's prestine home inside Marcia's house and she will be resting in bed between takes.
Boy I wish I had that kind of service when I was put on bedrest with both of my pregnancies. Thankfully, I learned to balance a laptop on my bump!

I could not imagine being on bed rest for three months.
ReplyDeleteI was on bedrest for four months with my first pregnancy and more than five months with the twins. I am a total type-A workaholic and it was torture, but I ended up with three healthy boys.
