Kevin Federline Talks About Falling in Love with Britney
Kevin Federline didn't plan on falling love with Britney Spears when his ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson, was pregnant with his child according to an interview with USA Today. It just happened that way.One thing he did plan was having a family at a young age although he has outdone even his expectations. He says: "I knew for sure that I'd have one or two children by now. I didn't think I'd have four children, but I love being a young dad with a big family."
Federline has two children with Jackson, daughter Kori, 4, and son Kaleb, 2, and two children with Spears, Sean Preston, is 1, and their second son, Jayden James, was born Sept. 12.
He says Sean Preston is already "starting to take on the big brother role, and he's getting very protective. (He) wants to be around the baby all the time."
He says Britney is currently "recording three or four times a week, and she still manages to be with the kids a lot." He and his wife take on different parenting roles, he says: "She spoils them; I'm the enforcer."
When will they release photos of the newest addition, Jayden James? When Britney decides its time! "But if my wife wants to have that baby all to herself for now, then she keeps it, because there's not much she has to herself," he says, "not even her own children."

Cindy Margolis Poses in Playboy with a Purpose
Mom of three Cindy Margolis is making her debut in the December issue of Playboy. She may be the queen of internet downloads, but she has never appeared naked in print until now. She recently sat down with the Associated Press to disclose why now and what she sees as her bigger purpose. The following is an excerpt of the article:
AP: Why now?
Margolis: My decision to do Playboy is literally 20 years in the making. I've always prided myself in keeping my clothes on, being the girl next door. I've had the No. 1 downloaded (celebrity) Web site, and for years I've been known as the "Queen of the Internet" in the "Guinness Book of World Records," America Online, Yahoo!, (all while) keeping my clothes on, and I've been very proud of that. Every couple years when Mr. (Hugh) Hefner would call, I would very graciously decline, because my mom would kill me, and I thought it was more mysterious keeping my clothes on.
But, this year, when I got the call from Mr. Hefner, it was my 40th birthday. So I thought, "Wow -- at 40, they still want me?" And I thought it's almost an inspiration -- like a "you go, girl" moment. I feel empowered that you can be married and have three children and still be sexy and confident and look great.
My mom would have killed me before, but I'm an adult woman now, and I'm ready to show the world that you can have it all at 40 -- be fabulous, 40, and pose for Playboy.
AP: So, what was it like?
Margolis: I made my career off posing in swimsuits and doing all the swimsuit issues and posters, but I will tell you that that little bit of material on an itsy-bitsy bikini -- taking that off was very nerve-racking the first time. ... But I felt proud of myself. I worked out really hard, and the reason I wanted to do it the most is because I am posing for a purpose: a portion of the proceeds from each issue sold is going to go to my charity.
AP: That would be ...?
Margolis: I am the celebrity spokesperson for Resolve, the national infertility association, and my three precious children were born through infertility procedures. I struggled for many years trying to have children. My beautiful son was born through in vitro fertilization. I had my beautiful twins via a surrogate. So I wanted to give back.
That is very important to me, to make fertility mainstream so everyone understands it. If you want to have your miracle child, there are options: adoption, surrogacy, fertility procedures. It is also sadly very expensive, and not all insurance companies cover it.
AP: How does your posing add to the cause?
Margolis: First we're going to sell a certain amount, and then all the rest after that will go to Resolve. That was important to my husband, as well.

Shanna Moakler answered some of her readers questions on her Myspace blog yesterday and posted an adorable photo of Alabama visiting her very first Halloween pumpkin patch. Many of the questions were about beauty products and modeling, but a couple may be of interest so here's an excerpt:On losing the baby weight: "i dont and wish i had the answer for this, i have always said it takes 9 months getting there and 9 months getting back, i dont have a huge secret...my body holds on to that weight for a looooooooong time!! around 9 months it just kind of falls off, but i also do workout, i like power yoga that i listen to hip hop and cool music too...i was dancing alot and i think that helped!! we were dancing 3 hours a day!! for 8 weeks!! but the good old fashion weights and the eliptical is the "trick" i do yoga every other day and weights on the others....i cant lie divorce will make anyone lose weight...stretch marks..i have them...my best tip is to gain your weight slowly when your preggers, thats right ladies dont eat whole pies...i know u want to and im sorry u have to workout even when your throwing up....when i take pictures, they are airbrushed along with my c-scar..cause i got that too, and if a man loves me he will love all the flaws that come with me, so ladies dont beat yourself up about them...our babies are worth it...you can get them lazered..they dont make them go away but it helps....the joys of being a mother...."
On her divorce: "not something i ever thought i would experience, my parents have been married for 40 yrs, and that just wasnt in the cards for me, who cares, god has bigger and better things planned for all of us who go throu it, im not ashamed, i at least tried, i gave it my best...i was honest...i cry, i surround my self with my friends and family and i read the beautiful letters people send and remind myself that im a good person and i keep striving...i find it shocking how many people have wrote me with the same experience, and i feel for all of you to even thou i cant write back to everyone, no one deserves to be decieved and we dont have to punish ourselevs for growing apart from others, ive LEARNED and sometimes thats all i can take away is the fact i am worthy of standing on my own 2 feet and i dont need anyone not a man to define me. i can sit in bed and worry about what i did wrong but life marches on if i wanna participate or not, so for all of you who wrote and asked how do i do it...well i dont have a choice, i have children who need me and i got one shot in this life and i wanna live it....and i wanna be happy."

Nicole Kidman may be thinking about adopting a third child according to some reports. Kidman has two children, Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, from her marriage to Tom Cruise. Nicole reportedly started thinking about adoption during a recent trip to Kosovo as part of her role as an ambassador for children's charity Unicef.
A source says: "Nicole has been very open about her desire for another child. It looks like another adoption is not out of the question."

Brad Pitt Serves the Community
Brad Pitt does his share of community service on Monday. The architect fan spent time laying the building blocks for a house in Patan Village, India as part of a project for Habitat for Humanity. I've added photos of Jimmy and Rossalyn Carter who were also working on the project.
On a personal note, my family and I help with at least one habitat home every year. I hightly recommend helping a family in your area. There is nothing as rewarding as helping someone attain something that many of us take for granted. My oldest son looks forward to the event every summer and he has become best friends with one of the children from one of the first homes we worked on.

Marcia Cross Wants Her Pictures Back
Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross is in a dispute with a firm that was hired to remove trash from her LA home. Apparently some of the "trash" included more than 200 personal photographs of the actress in the trash, which the firm is now trying to sell them for profit.The owner of the firm says the photos were not discovered until the company got to to the local dump. Some of the photos show Cross showering which were taken by her husband, Tom Mahoney.
"The pictures were not stolen," says Phoenix-based agent David Hans Schmidt who just happens to be the same gentleman that acquired the contents of Paris Hilton's storage locker last year. "When you throw something away, you forfeit that property.
"We recognize the copyright issue, but U.S. copyright law stops at the border," he adds indicating that he may be planning to sell the photos overseas.

Gretchen Wilson on Motherhood
People magazine has a special issue out about Country music stars which includs an excerpt from Gretchen Wilson's upcoming memoirs. In it she discusses what she calls the defining moment in her life: becoming a mother. "Initially, I felt downright miserable. I saw myself as fat and ugly and pregnant. At the same time, I started feeling that my dream that lead me to Nashville was slowly slipping away," she writes.
But after talking with friends and family, she was able to overcome her worries and her daughter Grace was born.
"The bottom line is, Grace is my life and music is my talent and passion. . . . I'm a mom first, a singer second," she writes.
Gretchen's book, "Redneck Woman: Stories from My Life," from Warner Books, will be released Nov. 1.

Sharon Stone Supports Lupus Foundation
Sharon Stone has auctioned off 100 of her own handbags to help raise funds for Lupus research. Sharon has been very active in raising funds to find a cure for the for the auto-immune disease since her sister Kelly was diagnosed with the condition in 2005. The celebrity auction which was held in Beverly Hills on Thursday also included designer handbags donated by Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Taylor. As for her own donations, Sharon says, "How many bags do you really need? We really need a cure for Lupus but I don't really need very many handbags."

Pregnancy has had an unexpected side effect for Amanda Peet. It has given her a filthy mouth. She says, "When I get really angry and irritated or I have road rage or if I'm really upset about something and I'm driving home, my husband has noticed that I just start swearing like a longshoreman. I'm definitely not very ladylike but it's not like this. It's like every other word. It's almost like I'm in a fog and I clearly can't hear how insane I sound."
The pregnancy is also showing in her complexion. She explains, "I had pimples and things like that... and when my mom saw my acne, she said, 'Oh, it's a girl.' It's an old wives' tale I guess... they (girls) make you look less good."
Madonna Spoils Newest Addition
David, the Malawian boy, Madonna is in the process of adopting has gone from a life of extreme poverty to European luxury in just three weeks. Madonna has spent a smal fortune on the child's new wardrobe according to Petit Tresor co-owner Nina Takesh. Takesh reveals, "She wanted very high-end, luxury winter products and items; very subtle European classic designs made of the finest materials and fabrics... It's the luxury of all luxuries." But Madonna left the store boss puzzled when she asked for girls clothing too: "She did pull both boy and girls items in that age range."
The total price tag was almost $10K just from Petit Tresor. Takesh adds, "A lot of money was spent on just absolutely beautiful items, close to $10,000."

Elizabeth Hasselbeck Upset with Law & Order: SVU
The View cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck is upset over episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in which a character who share's a name simiar to hers is raped and killed. "Last week Law & Order: SVU had an episode where a 30-year-old woman in New York City is raped twice and then murdered – and her name is Elizabeth Hassenback," Hasselbeck said on The View. "I found this a little disturbing."
She contacted a SVU executive producer and says, "I told him 'Look, I want to let you know that I think it's socially irresponsible and gruesomely suggestive to do this in today's day and age." said Hasselbeck.
She says the producer was defensive and that the name was merely a coincidence. He ultimately hung up on her.

On his health: David is currently healthy, but has suffered from malaria and tuberculosis prior to his adoption.
On his transition into the home: "David is amazing," Madonna said. "What really surprises me is how great my children are with him and how he's transitioned so easily from living in Africa in an orphanage to living in our house."
David birth father: David's father says he will not contest the adoption. "I don't want my child, who is already gone, to come back," he said. "I will be killing his future if I accept that."
On rumors that her wealth made the adoption happen: "If only my wealth and my position could have made things go faster," she said. "I assure you it doesn't matter who you are and how much money you have, nothing goes fast in Africa."
Why Malawi: She says she was urged to consider adopting a child in Ethiopia or Kenya because of Malawi's vague adoption laws.
Why David: "I did have my heart set on David, but I was also told there was a possibility I wouldn't be able to adopt him," she said. "I was told to look around at all the orphanages."
On the media reaction: Madonna said she was worried the firestorm of publicity that surrounded the adoption may dissuade other parents from adopting children from Africa. "I'm disappointed because more than anything it discourages other people from doing the same thing," she said. "I feel the media is doing a great disservice to all the orphans of Africa, period, not just the orphans of Malawi."

Ryan Phillippe Discusses Family
Ryan Phillippe sat down with Interview magazine to his new movie, Flags of Our Fathers, and discussed family and the challenges of being a working parent. Ryan doesn't plan on working with Reese again anytime soon. He says "Sometimes I think it's a little cleaner to, at least at this stage in our lives, keep that stuff separate. I'd never write anything off completely, but I just feel like there's something to be said for the individuality and mystery of doing things on your own."
Phillippe says he doens't like working away from Witherspoon and their kids Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3. "That's a difficulty that I don't know if I will ever totally come to terms with. But I think I commit sometimes even further to a role because it leaves me less time to think about those things that make me feel sad, like not being around my children."
Immersing himself in a role, he says, serves as "a shield or a protective blanket that keeps me from having to deal with the reality. If I can't see my kids, and I'm in another time zone, I really have to live and eat and breathe the work around the clock, because that keeps me sane."
The couple plans their filming schedules to make sure one of them is always at home with the kids. "That's one of the ways we keep the balance," he says.
But, he admits, "There are obstacles in every family. … It's never going to be perfect – you just try to do the best you can and to create a life that is positive and full for them."
His toughest critic is daughter Ava. "Ava just turned 7 and just started first grade," he says. "I've been down in Austin making this movie (an untitled film about Iraq directed by Kimberly Peirce), so I had the whole conversation with her where I'm getting guilted. She's like, 'You've missed my first day of school two years in a row.' She gives me a harder time than Reese, by far."

Madonna will appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show Wednesday to discuss her recent adoption of a 13-month-old boy from Malawi. In response to the growing controversy about the adoption, Madonna said in a statement to people magazine: "I expect to be given a hard time about many of the things I do. I know they are provocative and I prepare myself, but I did not expect the media, the government or any human rights organizations to take a stand against me trying to save a child's life."

Annette Bening's Balancing Act
Annette Bening recently sat down and talked abou motherhood withe Life. The following is an excerpt from the article:LIFE: You’ve talked about being physically affectionate with your kids.
BENING: It’s so important, isn't it? My husband [Warren Beatty] is very affectionate, and I think it’s equally important for the father. Kids need physical affection, no matter how old they get.
LIFE: Have you had talks about sex and drugs?
BENING: Lots of little conversations, all the time—so they don’t feel like This is The Talk. But at my kids’ ages, absolutely. They explain things to me [laughs]. I'm kidding, but it is back and forth. I believe in that. I believe in trying to be as open as I can. And they get a lot of education in school; I believe in that, too.
LIFE: Were there specific things you wanted to adopt or avoid when you became a mother? BENING: I’m such a different creature from my mother. I always wanted to be a mother, from the time I was really little. But wanting to be an actor was the center of my life for so many years, in sometimes very modest circumstances—community college in San Diego—but play after play after play. All of my social and intellectual life was centered around that. I love San Diego, but I didn't want to stay there, I wanted to be part of a larger world. I wanted to have economic independence. It's so important, to make your own life, your own paycheck. When I eventually did have kids, in my early thirties, I was the first one among my entire acting class.

Madonna's Malawi Adoption Gets Even More Complicated
If things weren't complicated enough, today brings a new twist in the Madonna adoption have gotten even more interesting. The biological father of the Malawian toddler that Madonna plans to adopt has come forward saying that he did not clearly understand that he was giving up the child forever. "Our understanding was that they [Madonna and British filmmaker, Guy Ritchie] would educate and take care of our son just as they were doing at the orphanage," said the boy's father Yohane Banda.
Banda claims that he was told by the Director Child Welfare Services and the Director of the Home Orphange Centre where Baby David was living that, "when David grows up he will return back home to his village." He claims that he was not told or did not understand that the adoption would be permanent.
"If we were told that she wants to take the baby as her own we could we could not have consented because I see no reason why I should give away my son," Banda says.
"Our understanding as family is that David is still part and parcel of our clan, " says the father's cousin. "After the good woman nurtures and educates him, he will return back."
"I look forward to telling my grandson how destitute he was after losing his mum at the tender age of three weeks, how we surrendered him to the oprhanage and how this good woman took him away," says Mwale.
The family says that the do not want Baby David to be returned to the orphange, but want their position clarified.
"We are still thankful Madonna has rescued him from poverty and disease: we pray for the good Lord to keep blessing her for her benevelence," says Banda.

US Weekly recently sat down with Dancing with the Stars contestant Joey Lawrence to talk about the show and his family. The following is an excerpt from the interview. US: How are your own wife and daughter?
Joey: It's been cool. My wife's so awesome. We've known each other since we were fifteen years old. We were on a spring break trip and that crazy love at first sight thing (happened). We were kids, but it just went according to plan. We were incredibly blessed to find our soulmates at that age.
US: And how did you meet up again?
Joey: Well, we went out for seven or eight years and were engaged, and I was just dumb. I had a brain fart and we broke up for a couple of years, and then I found her again. And thank God she took me back! Now we're spending the rest of our lives together.
US: How are you adjusting to being a dad?
Joey: It's wonderful. I have my daughter here now. She's incredible, just the
sweetest little thing. I love playing with her on the floor and picking her up out of the crib, seeing her little smiling face. Everything else becomes secondary to that at that point.

Rumor: Kate Moss May be Pregnant
If Pete Doherty's uncle and the UK's Sunday Mail can be believed, Kate Moss may be expecting her second child.Doherty's uncle Phil Michels tells the baby: He told the Sunday Mirror: "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant."
Moss has a four-year-old Lila Grace with Jefferson Hack and Doherty has a three-year-old son, Estile, with ex-girlfriend Lisa Moorish.
