Tori Spelling is not one to fade away. Not only is she planning a new reality series for the Oxygen network that will feature Tori and her husband Dean McDermott running a bed and breakfast, she's also planning to write her memoirs.
The book has already been picked up by publisher Simon & Schuster and will be a collections of her recollections and will be written with the help of a ghostwriter. Tori expects to compile the stories, when "the baby is napping".
The memoir is unlikely to heal the rift with mom, Candy Spelling, and the actress has yet to inform her family of her plan to write the book.
"I certainly hope that (the book) doesn't cause more damage," says Tori.
She was planning on telling her brother Randy about the book over the weekend. "Randy's kind of caught in the middle because he has a very close relationship with my mother and a very close relationship with me. He tries to stay neutral, and I admire him for that," she says.
As for her relationship with her mother, Tori says: "I wish things were different. My mother and I have always had a difficult relationship. There has always been love, and I don't doubt now that there's love."
Tori does hope for a reconciliation with her mom.
Some of the topics to be included in the memoir include: plastic surgery, past relationships, and her treatment in her father's last will and testament.
Reports following her father's death indicate that Tori received "less than $1 million in cash and stocks". Although not directly answered, Tori does disclose some of her financial status saying: "You have to take everything with a grain of salt. I'm not ashamed to admit that circumstances have changed, and you work with things the best you can. It's important for me to tell people about the struggles. I found that money can't buy love, and (Dean and I) can get through anything."
