Jennifer Garner In The Worst Shape Ever

Rule number one: Don't have your husband say he wants more kids on national TV.

Rule number two: If husband breaks rule number one, be ready to immediately deny pregnancy rumors.

This is the predicament Jennifer Garner has found herself in this week after Ben Affleck's appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show earlier this week. The interview coupled with an unfortunate photo a week ago that showed a little more belly than would be desired had started rumblings about her being pregnant again -- she isn't!

Jennifer freely admits that she isn't in the best physical shape, "I'm in the worst shape ever," she tells Elle magazine in its January issue. "My trainer just shakes her head and says, 'This is a disaster.' "

Usually a size 6 - 8, she's leaning more towards the size 8 these days. Gone is her Alias physique, "I am as physically unfit as I've probably been in my whole life. It's such a horror in front of the mirror with no clothes on."

She even took time to life up her sweater to reveal her post-baby midriff and says, "You still have that little bit of extra skin, know what I mean? But still, it's enough for people to think that you're knocked up."

In return for giving up her super toned body, Jennifer has gained a bubbly one year old Violet who is starting to talk. Mommy Garner takes joy in her little girls forrays into saying "'ee-i-ee-i-o" and "mama".

Marriage is also agreeing with her. "Maybe it's because we were newlyweds," she says. "I think it's just that (Ben) is also a very understanding individual. A compassionate, generous guy. He's great with (Violet) and she loves him, which makes it a lot easier on me."

Watch for Jennifer in her new movie, Catch and Release, which is due out in January. Until then you could find her spending her time at home with Violet and enjoying her new family.
