Heath Ledger recently talked to OK magazine while promoting his new film "Candy". The following is an excerpt of the article:
On Sleep Depreviation:
"I was used to having to live and operate on no sleep because that's what this job presents. With Matilda, I'm used to early mornings now. If I get more than six hours of sleep it screws up my day. But certainly the first six months was tenfold on that because it was up every hour or two. Then you start to cruise as they get on a sleeping pattern. It becomes alot easier.
On Forgetting About the Oscar Race:
"Matilda was a beautiful distraction from all the madness. Michelle and I would have found a way to distract ourselves from it regardless, but it was a very organic distraction and very beautiful. It was one big monster. I was lucky to have Michelle by my side, which made it alot easier."
Pick up this week's issue of Ok-magazine for the whole article.
