  2. She means all the plastic stuff that comes with little babies - the toys, highchairs, playpens, bouncers, etc.

So much of the baby stuff is made out of plastic these days that it's hard to avoid having it. The non-plastic stuff is typically more expensive and hard to find.

  3. My pride and joy is my Svan highchair for my daughter. We get endless comments on how "cool" it is, so I think it more than makes up for the "plastic" junk all over the house.

  4. That's the key -- have a few really great things and it offsets all of the plastic gear.

We've also come up with a bunch of ways to hide all the plastic so it doesn't take over the whole house.

PS - I'm featuring the svan highchair at "The Stylish Child" soon so I'm glad to hear that it gets your praise. We had the svan bouncer and it was fantastic!
