Britney Spears and Kevin Federline Welcome Son!

I was offline last week when the rumor hit that Britney had delivered a little girl at the very same time that she was photographed out getting ice cream. This week's rumor is that Britney had a little boy this morning weighing in at 6 lb, 11 oz boy just before 2 am this morning.

The source is the National Enquirer so I guess we'll just wait and see if an announcement comes out today from the couple.

Update: Usweekly has confirmed the story through a family source. Apparently all the shopping for girl stuff was a ruse. There should be an official announcment through People this afternoon.

Update: People has confirmed the story although no new details are available.

Update (again): According to AOL, Britney's dad has confirmed the birth to Access Hollywood.
