US Weekly: Brad & Angelina’s Baby Joy!

How does a hospital prepare for the most anticipated birth in celebrity history? Total lockdown. On May 27, the outside signs were removed, blinds closed and doors locked at the Cottage Medi-Clinic in Swakipmund, Namibia. That evening, around 9 P.M., Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt made her entrance into the world via C-section, joining mom Angelina Jolie, 31, father Brad Pitt, 42, and her adopted siblings Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 17 months.

Total lockdown? Why was that even necessary when these two already had the power to keep the papparazzi out of the country? If they are trying to fly under the radar, they don't seem to be doing such a great job of it. It just drives me crazy when stars think they deserve such preferential treatment. I do really think they are a cool family, but to rent an entire resort (and displace the people who were already staying there), have a hospital go into lock-down to have a baby? Please. If they wanted a "normal" life, they probably shouldn't have hooked up in the first place!
