BROOKE SHIELDS sent well wishes to new parents TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES as she hit the red carpet Sunday for the 'Over the Hedge' premiere, less than two weeks after giving birth to baby daughter GRIER.
"It's the best gift you could have, so I'm really happy for them," Brooke told our KEVIN FRAZIER of Tom and Katie and their new arrival. "How could I not be?"
Ironically, Brooke delivered baby Grier just down the hall from where Katie gave birth to daughter SURI.
Meanwhile, Brooke gushed about her own bundle of joy. "She's a delight, really healthy, 20 inches 7 pounds and drinking like a champ," she said.
The new mom even said that Grier's 2-year-old big sister has gotten used to the idea of a new person in the house. "ROWAN decided she was going to let her live there," she said. "I actually went out on a limb and said, 'Alright, it's your choice.' And thank God, she said, 'We can keep her.'"
And this time around, Brooke says there's no indication of post-baby blues. "You wouldn't have seen me at a premiere with the last one," she said. "So this is a good sign."
