Pregnant former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL insists she will have a Caesarean if it means avoiding pain during childbirth. Halliwell has no qualms about taking measures to feel more comfortable while giving birth, as her baby will be born happier and healthier as a result. She says, "I'm not going to be a martyr in labour. "If I'm in pain, I'll have an epidural. If the doctor says my hips are too narrow, I'll take the Caesarean. "I will do whatever is healthiest for this baby. "It would be great if I could just have a bit of gas and air, and at the end of a pain-free experience I just got up afterwards, put my jeans on and we all went home!"
