Julia Roberts has spent $20m on a vast plot of land on the California coast, the first step towards building the house of her dreams.
The Pretty Woman star is spending a further $610,000 to have a secluded mansion built on the land in Malibu.
Roberts, husband Danny Moder, and their twins toddlers Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter also have a home in New Mexico.
