Britney Spears is planning a surprise appearance in New Orleans to help the hurricane-ravaged city celebrate Mardi Gras. Britney was born and raised just an hour away from the city in Kentwood, Louisiana, and said she was thrilled to be returning to her home state. "Louisiana, I'm comin' home!" she said with a giant smile during a TV spot promoting her appearance. Britney - who blew a kiss at cameras in the TV spot - has been out of work as she concentrates on raising her baby son. But she said she was determined to help the area celebrate after the devastation from last year's hurricane season. "New Orleans, you deserve a party like this!," she said. While it was not announced exactly what she would be doing, she said: "Trust me, I'm bringing one big surprise after another and another." And referring to the heart of the city, she said: "See y'all on Bourbon Street."
