Desperate Housewives Marcia Cross is adjusting to life as a working mom.

"I had them come with me last week," Cross says of her daughters Savannah and Eden. "I think if I have one full day, then the next day they have to come with me [to work] because I can't not see them for that long."

"When they're with me [at work], that's challenging, but when they're not with me ... I'm a new mother, that's what it is, it's all challenging," Cross adds.

Cross was forced to finish filming her season early last year when she was placed on bedrest. She did return briefly for the final episode of the season following the arrival of her daughters on Feb. 20 .

Usher's Fiance Tameka Foster Talks About Cancelled Wedding

Tameka Foster is telling her side of the story about her cancelled wedding to Usher last weekend.

"No one knows why we canceled the wedding, but I can tell you that all of the reasons that everyone is speculating and writing about are completely untrue," said Foster.

Rumors abound that family matters -- specifically with Usher's mom and former manager Jonetta Patton -- along with fights over the wedding itself were the cause of the last minute cancellation.

Foster did confirm that she was hospitalized following the announcement of the cancellation of the wedding. She reportedly went into pre-term labor.

"We had a scare," she says. "But, I am fine and the baby is fine."

The couple are expecting their first child together later this fall.

Gretchen Mol Can't Imagine Putting Her Career Ahead of Motherhood

Gretchen Mol isn't sure that she'll be able to return to making movies after the birth of her first child in September. The star is expecting director Todd Williams' child in a little and says she can't ever imagine putting her acting career over motherhood.

Moll says, "It's been hard not to work during this time but it's hard to say, 'Hire me,' too because my instinct is, 'I will find things where you can get a taste of it and keep your feet in the water without having to give up a huge amount of time.'

"If I had to be on the set for 16 hours, being a mother, I would feel like I was wasting time. Maybe a theatre role would work because your life is very structured. I can see myself trying to do that."

Moll says she struggled with her pregnancy at first, but is now excited to become a first-time mum.

She says, "I moved back to New York from Los Angeles to be closer to my family and it's just great to be back here. I love it. I've had a great summer. I've been relaxing so it sort of puts things in priority, a different order, and I think it's been really great. I'm looking forward to it."

Gwyneth Paltrow Returns from Her Mommy Retirement

It took a "dream" opportunity to lure Gwyneth Paltrow back to Hollywood after taking a break to have her children Apple, 3, and Moses, 15 months.

Paltrow jumped at the chance to come out of "mommy retirement" to share the screen with Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man.

She says that orking with Downey "has always been a dream of mine."

The actress is on the mend from recent knee surgery and went against doctors orders to sport a pair of vertiginous silver heels to promote the flick at Comic-Con in San Diego Sunday.

"Don't show my non-orthopedic shoes," Paltrow joked. "I got off the crutches two weeks ago and the cane yesterday and I've been doing a lot of physical therapy and I'm seriously not supposed to be in these shoes, but that's okay."

Getting in movie star shape to play the role of Virginia "Pepper" Potts took some hard work on her part. .

"I was like a post-baby nightmare," she says of post baby body. "So I worked really, really hard. I had an amazing trainer and I worked out twice a day and did dance cardio and felt like a complete nerd and I just really worked hard. I got into shape. And there you go. I was ready to go."

"It was great for me to have that break," she said of her time off from work. "I really needed that break and I've come back to the whole world with such an appreciation for it."

Jenna Elfman Welcomes Son "Story Elias"

Actress Jenna Elfman and her husband Bodhi welcomed son, Story Elias, on July 23 in Los Angeles. Story weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz.

The former Dharma & Greg star is adjusting to life as a new mom and Story is a fan of "classical music, a clean diaper, mom's boobs and long naps," says Elfman's publicist, Jenni Weinman. She added, "Story wants to give big props to his mom for all the hard work."

This is the first child for the couple who have been married since 1995.

Nicholas Cage and Son Introduce Comic Book

Nicolas Cage and his 16-year-old son, Weston, introduced a new comic book, Voodoo Child, at the Comic-Con expo on Sunday.

Weston came up with the main character, Gabriel, a biracial teenage ghohst who fits the evil of bigotry in post-Katrina New Orleans. Cage hopes to turn the character into a script and may play the hero if the film moves into production.

The comic book series is the result of Cage's lifelong love of the genre. The Voodoo child series is set for a six-book run by Virgin Comics.

"This is a highlight in my life," Cage says, "that I got to create something with my son."

Elizabeth Hasselbeck spent Saturday in Watermill, New York at the Super Saturday fundraiser for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and revealed that she has discovered that she is so busy that she hasn't had much time to worry about her pregnancy this time around.

"The pregnancy is going well," she said. "Today, with the heat, I'm sweating. But this is the first time I've actually felt pregnant. I feel really great. I pay less attention to the pregnancy the second time around, because I have a daughter, I'm busy with another child."

She did keep mum on rumors that Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg are the planned new co-hosts on The View although she did give a solid endorsement of Whoopi.

"I loved working with Whoopi Goldberg," said Hasselbeck. "She is soulful, has a world of experience to bring to the table, and I don't sense any sort of political agenda. She is so funny, but at the same time, she is one of the most thoughtful people that I've met."

"When Gerber shared its findings from a recent survey of moms, I was shocked to learn that many toddlers weren't getting the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables in a day," said Sweeney. Isla Fisher Finally Admits She's Pregnant

Baby Bling Binkies Recalled

Following the arrival of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the crystal encrusted binkies sold by Baby Bling were flying off the shelves (Shiloh was gifted a diamond encrusted version).

Well as one might expect of a binky with little crystals attached to it, the crystals may come off and pose a choking hazard. So anyway.... federal safety regulators have announced that the binkies are subject to a voluntary recall (Oh yeah, and the crystals contain lead - just what you want your infant sucking on.)

Britney Spears May Be In Trouble for Breaking Custody Agreement

Britney Spears may be in some hot water over her recent trip to Los Vegas. Not only did her bodyguard give a photographer a beating, but reportedly her leaving town with the boys is against her custody agreement with K-Fed.

She has been staying at the Wynn hotel with sons, 10-month-old Jayden James, and Sean Preston, 22 months, where her bodyguard got in an altercation with a photographer.

K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has reportedly ordered Britney bring the children back to Los Angeles immediately.
