Details on Nicoles Wedding

THE venue, the bridesmaids and the identity of some of the high-profile guests appear to be a done deal for Nicole Kidman's wedding to country crooner Keith Urban but the most important question for any bride remains unanswered. Speculation is rife about just who will dress the Oscar winner for her big day, but the field remains open, with designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Collette Dinnigan and Balenciaga's Nicolas Ghesquiere still in the running for the hottest style gig of the year. Kidman, 39, will reportedly marry Urban, 38, on Sunday at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, a gothic-style sandstone Catholic church, in St Patrick's estate, overlooking the ocean at the northern Sydney suburb of Manly.

A large marquee has been erected at the estate, where the reception is expected to take place on Sunday afternoon. But The Daily Telegraph's Sydney Confidential reports the Royal Motor Yacht Club at Point Piper may be the place where guests party the night away. Another report suggests guests will only receive details of the venue via text message 24-hours before the big day.

Early bets for wedding-dress honours were on Paris-based designer Ghesquiere, who dressed Kidman in an aptly-themed white dress for this year's Academy Awards. But Nicole was also said to be torn between her favourite designers (and friends) Lagerfeld and Dinnigan.

Earlier this week it was reported that the Stepford Wives star was looking over a last-minute selection of gowns from some of Australia's top designers, while a source close to the nuptials told a Sydney newspaper the dress was white with a high Victorian-like collar. Whoever wins the coveted duties will have a tough job.
